Job summary

Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation in Colorado Fort Collins seeks an RN for high-quality clinical care in a skilled nursing setting. You will support residents in recovery and daily wellness, working with an interdisciplinary team to deliver personalized, dignified care.

The role reports to the Director of Nursing and requires an active RN license, ADN/BSN preferred, and flexibility to meet resident needs in a compassionate environment.

Qualifications

  • An Associate Degree (ADN) or BSN preferred.
  • Active RN license required.
  • Prior RN experience in a nursing community preferred.
  • Desire to care for residents with integrity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures proper resident care in a clean and safe environment.
  • Develops and ensures the nursing care plan and collaborates with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants.
  • Makes nursing diagnoses forming the basis for care strategy.
  • Collaborates with residents and healthcare team members.
  • Records administration of medications.
  • Monitors staff to follow safety regulations and government guidelines.
  • Follows procedures for nursing equipment and supplies.
  • Performs other duties as directed.

Work Schedule: Full-time and PRN shifts available

Pay Rate: $42.00 - $54.00 depending on experience and qualifications

In this vital role, you’ll provide high-quality clinical care, support residents in their recovery and daily wellness, and collaborate with a interdisciplinary team to ensure each resident receives personalized, dignified care. This position reports to the Director of Nursing.

JOB DUTIES:
  • Ensures proper resident care is maintained in a clean and safe environment.

  • Develop and ensure the nursing care plan and collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing assistants

  • Makes nursing diagnoses, which serve as the basis for the strategy of care

  • Collaborates with the resident, and members of the healthcare team

  • Records the administration of medication

  • Monitor assigned staff to ensure established safety regulations are followed and that all tasks are performed following all state and government regulations and safety procedures as outlined by the facility

  • Follows procedures related to the use of nursing equipment and supplies

  • Performs other duties as directed

REQUIREMENTS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
  • An Associates Degree (ADN); Bachelor Degree (BSN) - Preferred

  • An active RN license

  • Prior experience as an RN in a nursing community - Preferred

  • The desire to care for residents and act with integrity

  • The ability to work flexible hours
