Job summary

TLC Nursing Center in Oneonta, AL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our care team at 212 Ellen St. We provide high-quality, resident-centered care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet individual needs.

As an RN you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care, administer medications, monitor vital signs, and support residents with daily activities. We offer full-time or part-time shifts and a comprehensive benefits package to eligible staff.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate on medication management.
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, initiating appropriate interventions as needed.
• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe and effective care.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely per standards.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Join our dedicated team at TLC Nursing Center as a Registered Nurse (RN)! Located at 212 Ellen St., Oneonta, TLC Nursing Center is committed to providing high-quality care and support to our residents. We are currently seeking compassionate and experienced RNs to join our healthcare team.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a key role in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care for residents based on their individual needs. You will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive and holistic care.

Key Responsibilities Of a Registered Nurse

• Assessing residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administering medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring residents for any adverse reactions, and providing education on medication management and side effects.
• Monitoring residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, and initiating appropriate interventions as needed.
• Providing direct nursing care, including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Supervising and delegating tasks to licensed practical nurses (LPNs) and certified nursing assistants (CNAs) to ensure the delivery of safe and effective care.
• Documenting resident assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in accordance with regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
