Job summary

TLC Nursing Center in Oneonta, AL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents. The role involves assessing needs, planning and implementing care, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, holistic care.

You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, support daily living activities, and supervise LPNs and CNAs. Documentation and adherence to standards are required to ensure safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs and develop individualized care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitor for adverse reactions, and educate on medication management and side effects.
• Monitor residents' vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition; initiate appropriate interventions.
• Provide direct nursing care including wound care, catheter care, and assistance with activities of daily living.
• Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and CNAs to ensure safe, effective care.
• Document assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely per regulatory standards and facility policies.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care and outcomes.
