Forefront Dermatology in Bethesda, MD is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a fast-paced Plastic Surgery office and Certified Surgery Center. The role spans Pre-Op, OR, and PACU with flexibility in scheduling based on surgical volume. A Maryland RN license and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold a Maryland RN license and active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in Plastic Surgery, L&D, PACU and/or OR preferred; ICU/ER considered.
• PRN position with potential to become full-time; typical hours 6:30 am–3:30 pm; scheduling flexible to surgical volume.

• Monitor Vital Signs and patient status.
• Explain Post-Op instructions to patients.
• Establish IV access and start IVs.
• Position and reposition patients for surgery as needed.

• Transport patients from OR to PACU.
• Care for patients in PACU and during recovery.
• Discharge patients after surgery.
• Clean and maintain Surgical Suite.

Overview

Summary:

Fast paced Plastic Surgery office with a Certified Surgery Center located in Bethesda, MD is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include working in the areas of Pre-Op, Operating Room and PACU. Experience in Plastic Surgery, L&D, PACU and/or OR experience is preferred. Experience in ICU and ER would be considered. This is a PRN position potentially leading to a full-time position with typical hours of 6:30 am to 3:30 pm, however, flexibility with scheduling is required based on surgical volume and patient care needs. Education:
