Job summary

Forefront Dermatology in Wisconsin is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to support the dermatologist during patient visits, rooming patients, documenting vitals, and assisting with procedures. This full-time role requires travel to other clinic locations as needed.

You will manage scheduling, post-op wound care, blood draws, suture removal, and room stocking, while using EMR and Microsoft Office. The position offers strong benefits, including health insurance, 401K, and PTO, with opportunities

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a medical office preferred.
• Must keep current on state certifications, licenses and registrations.
• Willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed.
• Proficiency with computers and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and documents all vital information.

Overview

Summary:

This position is essential during the patient visit, accompanying the dermatologist in the room and promoting a friendly and efficient environment for patients, staff, and dermatologists.

This is a full time position and will work:

Monday-Thursday 7:30a-5:00p

Friday 6:30a-2:30p

May travel to Stevens Point clinic as needed

Qualifications

Post High School education in a medical support field:

• Licensed Practical Nurse is required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• 1+ years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity is preferred
• Must keep current on all state certifications, licenses and/or registrations to continue employment
• Must be willing to travel to other clinic locations as needed
• Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
• Must possess organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and cooperatively with staff, clients, and visitors
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize appropriately, and work well both individually and as part of a team
