Job summary

Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company, is recruiting a Registered Nurse for a contract at the client’s Occupational Health clinic in New York, NY (Manhattan – Hudson Square). Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Duration: through 12/12 with possible extension or permanent placement. Pay: $40–$55 per hour, DOE.

You’ll assess patient care needs, perform nursing evaluations, administer medications, and document tests (EKG, audiometry, spirometry).

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required.
• Diploma or AS in nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs; conduct nursing evaluations and provide treatment.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for further evaluation and care.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).

contract opportunity with Yoh's corporate client located in New York, NY (Manhattan - Hudson Square) at their Occupational Health clinic.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8a-4:30p

Duration: 11/9-12/12 with possible extension or permanent placement

Pay: $40-55/hr DOE

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You Need to Bring to the Table:

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or Associates' degree (A.S.) is required. Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current hands on training in Basic Life Support for health care providers is required
