Job Purpose: The Registered Nurse at OVATION COMMUNITIES is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to residents, ensuring their health and well-being. This role involves assessing patient needs, developing personalized care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate and effective healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols.
  • Monitor and document residents' progress, reporting any changes in condition to the healthcare team.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
  • Educate residents and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of nursing care.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to residents and their families, fostering a supportive and caring environment.
  • Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff.
  • Supervise and mentor nursing assistants and support staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and continuous learning.
Qualifications
Required Education
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Required Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in a healthcare setting
  • Experience working with elderly or geriatric patients preferred
