Job summary

The role requires a BSN, an active RN license, and a minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in supervision. Prior long-term care or geriatric experience is preferred, along with strong leadership and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited institution.
• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
• Proven track record of managing nursing staff and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support nursing staff, providing guidance and leadership to ensure optimal patient care.
• Coordinate and oversee daily nursing operations, including scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures to maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Monitor patient care activities and intervene as necessary to address any issues or concerns.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to nursing staff.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and departments to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in the recruitment, training, and development of nursing staff.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff.
• Address and resolve any conflicts or issues within the nursing team promptly and professionally.
