Purposelink Recruitment is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, field-based role in Western PA. You will manage patient care plans and directly support patients across Western PA, with approximately 20% daily driving to homes.

Responsibilities include meeting charting deadlines, patient and family education, and independent workflow management. Requires PA RN license, ARC ALS, AHA ACLS, and weekend on-call availability.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher and PA RN license.
• 1+ year experience in clinical documentation, informatics or quality.
• 1+ year EMR experience, preferably Practice Partner EMR.
• Active ARC ALS and AHA ACLS certifications required.
• comfortable with local travel to patient homes.

Overview

Our client is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join their extraordinary care team. This full‑time role focuses on the management and delivery of patient care plans throughout Western PA and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate is a self‑directed clinician who thrives in a field‑based environment, maintains strong documentation habits, and provides exceptional patient‑centered care.

This position requires on‑call availability on weekends, local travel to patient locations, and the ability to work independently while meeting critical charting deadlines.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania (PA)
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Clinical Documentation
  • Clinical Informatics
  • Clinical Quality
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
  • Other EMR systems
  • Practice Partner EMR
• All of the following active certifications:
  • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
• Comfortable with required local travel to patient homes

Key Responsibilities

Schedule & Shift Details

• Four 10‑hour shifts per week
  • Schedule options: Friday–Monday OR Saturday–Tuesday
• The 4th day each week is designated as an administrative day
• On‑call required on weekends
• Two holidays per year (only those that fall on weekends)

Travel Requirements

• Local travel to patient homes and care sites throughout Western PA
• Must be comfortable driving between visits and managing field‑based workflows

Pay Transparency Compensation varies based on location, experience, and performance. Some sites require disclosure of pay and benefits. This role may also be eligible for bonuses or incentives depending on business needs.
