Job summary

Eligible nurses may qualify for up to $40,000 in student loan repayment and/or a $10,000 CMS stipend through the Nurses for Nursing Homes program. A $3,200 sign-on bonus is available. A 30+ hour work week and a three-year commitment apply.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active RN license to practice in the State.
• An Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• 2 years’ Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• 6 months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices preferred.
• Strong utilization knowledge of Point Click Care preferred.
• Computer literacy skills (Outlook, Office, Internet) are expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with the nurse practice act, regulations, facility policies, and prudent nursing judgment.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the delivery of a resident’s plan of care per physician orders and guidelines.
• Be familiar with and apply the facility’s policies and privacy rules.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures, including CPR.
• Develop daily work assignments and supervise nursing staff as needed.
• Ensure nursing service personnel perform tasks per standards and policies.
