Job summary

Paradigm at Bay City is seeking an attentive registered nurse to join our facility. You will provide direct nursing care, develop and monitor care plans, and supervise nursing staff to ensure high-quality resident care while adhering to regulatory standards.

The role requires a TX RN license, an Associate Degree in Nursing, and prior long-term care and rehabilitative experience. We offer a supportive team, professional development, and a path to impactful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.
• 2 years’ experience in Long-Term Care preferred.
• Six months experience in rehabilitative/restorative nursing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and coordination abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with laws, facility policies, and prudent nursing judgment.
• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the resident care plan per orders and guidelines.
• Develop daily work and unit assignments and support nursing supervisory staff.
• Oversee nurse aides and communicate with nursing home staff to maintain policy compliance.
• Ensure privacy and security of patient information and log off unattended workstations.
• Provide prompt emergency support measures including CPR.
