Job summary

Kenton Nursing & Rehab Center in Kenton, Ohio is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in a post-acute care setting. You will administer medications, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver compassionate resident care.

We offer a competitive hourly wage, an $8,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year, shift differentials, weekend pay, and a full benefits package including PTO and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Ohio RN license required.
• BSN preferred; active RN license in good standing.
• Experience in post-acute or long-term care settings advantageous.
• Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide RN nursing care in a post-acute setting per care plans.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans with the team.
• Administer medications and treatments and document responses.
• Prioritize patient safety and infection control and fall risk.
• Educate residents and families on conditions and options.
• Assist with training and supervision of the nursing team.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Job Summary:

We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. As an RN, you will provide exceptional care to our residents, work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the growth and development of our center.

Responsibilities:

• Provide top-quality RN nursing care in a post-acute setting, consistent with legal requirements, facility policies, and resident care plans

• Work in conjunction with a multidisciplinary team, residents, and family members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans

• Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions to residents and document responses

• Prioritize patient safety and promote evidence-based best practices related to infection control and fall risk, among other areas

• Communicate with residents and family members, answering their questions and educating them on conditions, treatments, and healthcare options

• Assist with the training and supervision of the wider nursing team

• Additional duties and responsibilities assigned by leadership team

Qualifications and Skills:

• Current Ohio RN license

• Degree from an accredited registered nurse school (BSN preferred)

• Demonstrated work experience as an RN

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Ability to multi-task in a healthcare environment
