Job summary

Beaufort Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Hilton Head Island. The RN will coordinate direct patient care, ensure safe staffing, and support a fast-paced, high-quality environment.

Requires SC RN license, BLS, ACLS; 1 year ER experience; PALS/CEN/TNCC/ENPC preferred. This full-time role offers stable shifts in a not-for-profit community health system dedicated to serving the Lowcountry.

Qualifications

• South Carolina RN license required.
• BLS certification required prior to first clinical shift (by American Heart Association).
• ACLS certification required; new grads must obtain ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• PALS, CEN, TNCC, and ENPC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate care for a group of patients within the assigned area.
• Direct ancillary personnel for implementation of the patient's plan of care.
• Perform within the scope of SC Nurse Practice Act, hospital policies and Nursing Standards of Practice.

The registered nurse at BMH supports the philosophy of nursing by planning and coordinating care for a group of patients within his/her area. This individual has the responsibility to direct ancillary personnel for implementation of the patient's plan of care and has satisfactorily mastered the basic skills in the assigned area. The scope of nursing practice is focused on an assigned group of patients and encompasses charge responsibilities as assigned. Performs within the limits of SC Nurse Practice Act, Code of Ethics for nurses, hospital policies and procedures, and Nursing Standards of Practice.

Requirements

Education:

• Ability to obtain and maintain a South Carolina Nursing License

Experience:

• MinimumONE YEARof Emergency Room experience required

Certifications/Licenses:
