Job summary

Storybrook Care and Rehabilitation in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a detail-oriented Medication Technician to join our team serving seniors with compassionate, accurate medication administration. You will follow established procedures, document in the EHR, and support residents' independence while upholding quality care standards.

Requirements include a current CNA license, a valid Medication Technician Certification, and a preference for one year of experience in a senior services facility.

Qualifications

• Highschool graduate.
• Associate degree – preferred.
• Must possess a current Certified Nursing Assistant license.
• Must have current Medication Technician Certification.
• Must maintain current Certification during employment.
• One (1) year experience in senior services facility – preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follows all policies and procedures for medication administration, medication ordering, and delivery
• Immediately reports med errors, or missing medications
• Provides quality care to residents as indicated on the care plan
• Promotes resident independence in accordance with service plan
• Compliant with all infection control guidelines
• Ensures proper transfer of medication cart between shifts
• Documents medication administration in EHR (electronic health record) per policy
• Demonstrates patience, compassion and integrity with residents

Work Schedule: PRN

Pay Rate: $20.00 - $26.00 / Hour depending on experiences and qualifications

Job Summary
