Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

• Assess patients: evaluate needs (physical, emotional, spiritual) with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families prioritizing goals.
• Deliver patient care with evidence-based practices and patient education.
• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust care accordingly.
• Drive improvement with the Clinical Manager on performance initiatives.
• Promote High Reliability in patient care and operations.
• Lead and mentor peers while managing patient care.
• Document the nursing process, care plans, and family responses in EMR.
• Maintain compliance with policies and required trainings.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, spiritual, and educational needs while collaborating with the healthcare team.

• Document care: Accurately document the nursing process, plan of care, education, updates, and patient and family responses in the EMR.


• Maintain compliance: Follow organizational and department policies and complete required training and educational requirements.
