Qualifications

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Alabama.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (home health or clinical preferred).
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple patient cases.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed.
  • Monitor patient conditions and document clinical observations and progress notes.
  • Provide wound care, catheter care, injections, and other skilled nursing services.
  • Educate patients and families regarding disease management, medications, and home care procedures.
  • Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state regulations and agency policies.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in the comfort of their homes. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient health needs, developing care plans, administering treatments, and collaborating with physicians and care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Work Environment

This position requires travel to patient homes within the assigned service area and may involve standing, lifting, and assisting patients with mobility as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies as prescribed by physicians.

  • Monitor patient conditions and document clinical observations and progress notes.

  • Provide wound care, catheter care, injections, and other skilled nursing services.
