Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Chelsea, MA is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide compassionate care to patients living with HIV or at risk. You will triage by phone and in clinic, perform assessments, administer vaccines, and coordinate care with the health team.

About This Role

The Registered Nurse at Mass General Brigham is responsible for providing competent, compassionate nursing care to patients living with or at risk of HIV. This role is ideal for nurses who are dedicated to improving health outcomes through collaboration and case management.

What You'll Do

• Triage and assess patient needs via telephone and during clinic visits.
• Provide initial patient assessment and evaluation.
• Provide injections and vaccines.
• Provide education and follow-up for patients on antiretroviral therapy to treat HIV.
• Provide outreach and follow-up for high-risk patients.
• Document relevant patient information in accordance with Minimum Expectations for Documentation.
• Communicate the Plan of Care and other pertinent information to/from other health team members.
• Serve as a case manager and coordinate ancillary services for outpatients in need of VNA services.
• Participate in quality assurance activities.
• Teach and direct all nursing personnel for whom responsible.
