Professional Healthcare Resources, Inc., is hiring qualified Registered Nurses who are flexible, diligent, and compassionate to perform homecare visits in any of our (5) Branches: Baltimore, Kensington, Lanham, MD, District of Columbia (DC) and Annandale, VA.

Registered Nurse's (RN) Responsibilities Include:
  • Completes Initial comprehensive assessment of clients' needs to achieve determined goals.
  • Accept client admissions as assigned by agency.
  • Provide all required skilled services as ordered by the physician.
  • Assess and chart observations of the patient's condition at each visit.
  • Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
  • Dress or redress wounds and assess the healing progress.
  • Provide education to patients and families on proper home health care procedures and strategies.
  • Coordinate with Physicians, LPN's, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and other individuals in the patient's care plan.
  • Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
  • Recommend tools or devices that may improve the quality of life for the patient.
Youmust possessthe following qualifications and experience:
  • Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) of operation.
  • Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice as determined by state and federal regulations.
  • A minimum of one year's experience as a RN.
  • Experience in community or home health preferred.
  • Good command of the English Language.
  • Experience in care coordination between, physician, clients, referral sources
  • Good problem‑solving skills.
  • Basic IT Skills.

Experience:

  • Home Health (PDGM): 1 year (Preferred)
  • Homecare Homebase (HCHB): 1 year (Preferred)
  • Oasis: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Compact RN License (Required)
  • CPR Certification (online certifications not accepted) (Required)

Work Location: Field-based (On‑site visits)
