Professional Healthcare Resources, Inc. is seeking qualified Registered Nurses for homecare visits in Baltimore, MD and surrounding areas. A sign-on bonus is available for qualified RNs, with diverse pay, on-call pay, and comprehensive benefits.

The RN will perform assessments, admissions, skilled services, wound care, education, and coordination with care teams to ensure high-quality home health care. Strong communication and IT skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) of operation.
• Experience in community or home health preferred.
• Good command of English language.
• Experience in care coordination between physician, clients, and referral sources.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Basic IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Completes initial comprehensive assessment of clients’ needs to achieve goals.
• Accept client admissions as assigned by agency.
• Provide all required skilled services as ordered by the physician.
• Assess and chart observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
• Complete evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
• Administer physician-prescribed medication.
• Dress or redress wounds and assess healing progress.
• Educate patients and families on home health care procedures and strategies.
• Coordinate with physicians, LPNs, PTs, OTs, and others in the care plan.
• Keep the patient comfortable through palliative care.
• Recommend tools or devices to improve quality of life for the patient.

Registered Nurse’s (RN)Responsibilities Include

You Must Possess The Following Qualifications And Experience

• Must be a Registered Nurse licensed in the state(s) of operation.
• Must possess sound knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and standards of practice as determined by state and federal regulations.
• A minimum of one year’s experience as a RN.
• Experience in community or home health preferred.
• Good command of the English Language.
• Experience in care coordination between, physician, clients, referral sources
• Excellent communication skills.
• Good problem-solving skills.
