Job summary

CLINCH RIVER HOME HEALTHCARE, INC. is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to provide compassionate in-home care across our Tennessee service area. You will assess patients, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a care team, traveling in your own vehicle between locations. A valid RN license and at least 2 years in home health are required; pay is $36–$38 per hour.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license (states served).
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in home health care or hospice.
• Experience in home health care industry or familiarity with home health care patients.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and guidelines.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and charts observations of the patient’s condition at each visit.
• Performs accurate and complete assessments within defined time frames.
• Prioritizes and documents patient problems with patient, family, and health care team.
• Completes evaluation tasks, including reviewing medication and vital signs.
• Administers physician-prescribed medication.
• Evaluates, updates and revises plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provides education to patients and families on home health care procedures and strategies.
• Coordinates with Physicians, Physical Therapists, and others in the care plan.
• Maintains confidentiality of all records per HIPAA and Privacy Act regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• This position requires travel between locations in your personal vehicle.

Other Duties And Responsibilities

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the states that services will be provided. (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in home health care or hospice setting
• Experience working in the home health care industry or familiarity with home health care patients
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
