Join the renowned Johns Hopkins Medicine as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center. This role is essential in our comprehensive stroke center and 42-bed Level 2 Trauma Center, helping to provide critical care to our community.

The position offers a 12-hour night shift with a competitive salary range of $39.64 - $61.45 per hour, depending on experience. We offer robust benefits to support your well-being and career growth.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) is required.
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) is preferred.
  • RN – Registered Nurse License is required.
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience is required.
  • One-year nursing experience is preferred.
  • One-year Emergency Department experience is preferred.

Join Our Emergency Department Team at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center Hospital

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center stands as a distinguished institution, encompassing a 420-bed teaching hospital. The Emergency Department is a 42-bed Level 2 Trauma Center, a comprehensive stroke center, and home to Maryland's only adult burn center.

Weekly Working Hours: 36 hours per week

Shift: 12-hour night shift

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required)
  • Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred)
  • Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
  • RN – Registered Nurse License (Required)
  • CPR – Basic CPR (Required)
  • Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
  • 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred)
  • 1 year of Emergency Department experience (Preferred)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
