Job summary

Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore is hiring full-time Registered Nurses (RN) for the Surgical Unit on night shifts. This 40-bed unit delivers care to surgical and trauma patients in a fast-paced environment, offering opportunities to sharpen critical thinking and clinical skills while joining the Johns Hopkins team. Requirements include ADN; RN license; CPR; and six months of nursing experience (one year preferred).

BSN preferred. Surgical unit experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• ADN or equivalent is required.
• RN license is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Minimum six months of nursing experience is required.
• One year of RN experience is preferred.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) (Required),
• Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) (Preferred) and
• Applicants with an associate degree in nursing will be considered. Per nursing guidelines, must matriculate into a Bachelor of Nursing program.
• RN - Registered Nurse License (Required)
• CPR - Basic CPR (Required)
• Minimum six (6) months of nursing experience (Required)
• One year RN experience is preferred
• Previous experience in Surgical Unit is a plus

Salary Range: Minimum 39.64/hour - Maximum 61.45/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
