Job summary

Brooke Knoll Village is seeking Licensed Nurses to supervise and provide direct and indirect nursing care for residents as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with facility standards. The role includes developing and implementing each resident’s plan of care and supervising unit staff in Avon, Indiana.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Indiana licensure, with preferred experience in long-term care.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current Indiana license in good standing.
• Prefer at least one year of long-term care or related experience.
• Must display good emotional health and be capable of extended periods of standing, bending and heavy lifting.
• Ability to maintain a professional attitude, including confidentiality and conscientious use of time.

Responsibilities

• Supervise/manage personnel on the unit.
• Be responsible for total care of all residents on the unit and supervise direct care staff to meet residents' needs.
• Review daily nursing staff assignments to ensure duties match abilities and training.
• Initiate and update the nursing care plans for residents on the unit.

Licensed Nurses must be able to provide for resident assessment and assist in the development and implementation of each resident’s plan of care.
Annual Wage Scale: $73,840 - $104,000

About the Role: Brooke Knoll Village is seeking Licensed Nurses-

• To supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit
• That will be responsible for total care of all residents on his/her unit and supervision of direct care staff to ensure residents’ needs are met.
• To review daily assignments of nursing staff on the unit to assure that assigned duties are consistent with ability and training.
• That can initiate and update the nursing care plan for residents on the unit.
  

About you

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing and hold a current license by the State of Indiana in good standing.
• Prefer at least one year’s experience in Long Term Care or related field.
