Job summary

Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) seeks a Registered Medication Technician to join the Ash Grove Long Term Care Facility in Ash Grove, Missouri. The role includes preparing, administering, and documenting medications, with shift options across days, evenings, nights, or rotating schedules.

The position offers on-site work with opportunities for training, CNA advancement, and potential ongoing professional growth within CMH’s network of clinics and facilities.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma preferred.
• Experience: Prefer to have worked as a RMT within the last six months.
• Skills: Good Communication, Patience, Attention to detail, flexibility, Intrapersonal Skills.
• Licensure/Certification: CNA certification/licensure and RMT licensure; complete CNA course within 4 months; BLS CPR within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Preparing, administering, documenting medications by all routes except parenteral routes.
• Utilizing reference materials to identify side effects, interactions, and nursing implications of medications.
• Identifying medication errors, complete event reporting, and reporting to charge nurse for follow up action.
• Willing to work as a Certified Nurse Assistant from time to time as needed.
