Job summary

Westminster Canterbury of Lynchburg is hiring a Registered Medication Aide & CNA for full-time night shift in Lynchburg, VA. The role includes administering medications under supervision, vital signs, and resident transport within a Continuing Care Retirement Community.

Requires VA CNA license and Registered Medication Aide license; dementia care experience preferred; influenza vaccine and COVID-19 vaccine recommended by policy.

Qualifications

• Valid VA State CNA license.
• Valid Registered Medication Aide license.
• Two to three years of dementia care experience preferred.
• Influenza vaccine required and COVID-19 vaccine recommended.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and promptly report abnormal resident conditions to the charge nurse.
• Escort/transport residents to various facility locations.
• Administer medications to residents under supervision of a licensed nurse or pharmacist.
• Administers prescribed medications (oral, topical, insulin) as scheduled on assigned units.
• Notify charge nurse of residents requiring injections.
