Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Medical Technologist to perform complex chemical and biological testing across Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry and Microbiology. Candidates must hold MT/MLS or MLT certification and have relevant high-complexity experience.

Regulatory requirements include appropriate degrees and, where applicable, supervisor qualifications. Strong English communication and interpersonal skills are preferred, with cross-functional capability across laboratory departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in medical technology or related science with at least one year experience with high complexity testing.
• Associate degree in a laboratory science or medical technology program with at least two years experience with high complexity testing.
• One year of medical technology training, grandfather provision or proficiency exam.
• Certification in Medical Technology (MT/MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) by an accredited agency or the equivalent.
• Prior qualification as general supervisor under 42 CFR 493.1427 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex chemical and biological test procedures on blood, tissue, body fluids or excretions in Hematology, Blood Bank, Chemistry or Microbiology.
• Instruct incumbents in assigned areas.
• Must be cross functional in all laboratory departments except histology.
