Job summary

Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Technologist - Registered or Medical Laboratory Technician - Registered at Sauk Trails Clinic in Madison, WI. The 0.62 FTE position offers 24.8 hours weekly with a 12:00–8:30 schedule and one weekend per month; full benefits and a $3000 sign-on bonus prorated by FTE.

Responsibilities include performing laboratory procedures in Chemistry, Hematology, and Urinalysis, QC, troubleshooting, specimen collection, and supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or related science is required.
• ASCP/AMT MT or micro/chem/hematology technologist certification is required.
• CPR/Healthcare Provider certification required or must be obtained within 4 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory procedures in Chemistry, Hematology and Urinalysis as ordered by providers.
• Perform quality control, troubleshooting, and maintenance of lab equipment.
• Collect specimens and provide technical support to Medical Laboratory Technicians and staff.
• Work under supervision of the Medical Laboratory Services Manager and leads.
