Job summary

Grant Regional Health Center in Lancaster, WI seeks a part-time Medical Laboratory Technician or Medical Technologist (flex) to support a 0.8 FTE schedule with every 3rd weekend and a 6:00 p.m.–6:00 a.m. night shift, including a $3.00/hour shift premium.

The role covers phlebotomy, specimen processing, quality control, and a range of analyses (hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, serology, coagulation) while coordinating with the health care team.

Qualifications

• Must be certified or eligible for certification as medical lab technician or medical technologist.
• ASCP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Procure and dispatch specimens; manage general laboratory operations.
• Perform phlebotomy collections and age-appropriate patient assessments.
• Conduct and support hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, microbiology, serology, coagulation, and body fluid analyses.
• Assist with blood bank duties and ensure adherence to health and safety policies.
• Communicate results and coordinate with nurses, physicians, and lab staff.
