Belton Regional Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Medical Lab Technician to join our hospital laboratory team. The MLT conducts routine and complex tests across chemistry, hematology, immunology and microbiology to support patient diagnosis and treatment.

You will ensure accurate results by following testing procedures, calibrating equipment, and maintaining quality control. Certification as MLT (ASCP) or CLT (NCA) or eligibility is required within 1 year of hire.

Competenze

• Associates Degree in laboratory science or related science required OR Associates Degree with sufficient Biology and Chemistry coursework required
• Experience preferred
• MLT (ASCP), CLT (NCA) or equivalent certification required OR registry/certification eligible
• Registry/certification must be obtained within 1 year of hire

Mansioni

• You will perform chemical, bacteriological, serological and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
• You will produce accurate results in hematology, serology, chemistry, blood bank, coagulation, urinalysis, microbiology and other areas as designated.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Medical Lab Technician(MLT)conducts routine and complex laboratory tests in toxicology, chemistry, hematology, immunology, and/or microbiology for use in patient diagnosis and treatment of disease. What you will do in this role:

What qualifications you will need:
