The Registered Medical Assistant position at The Breast Center Fayetteville supports physicians and technologists during mammography, breast ultrasound, and MRI procedures. Working under supervision, you will manage patient charts, assist with setup, and ensure accurate EMR entries for efficient patient flow.

Overview

The Registered Medical Assistant position works under the supervision of the Lead RN, Chief Tech Director, and Physician. The RMA is responsible for providing direct or indirect care for patients at The Breast Center. The RMA assists physician and technologist during invasive procedures in Mammography, Breast US, and Breast MRI. Utilizes knowledge of basic Medical Assistant principals, practices, and ethics.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physician in setting up for procedures and exams, revising daily schedules; obtaining charts and charge tickets, locating lab tests and X-ray reports
• Ensure that patient chart/EMR entries are made accurately and in a timely manner
