Job summary

A well-established fostering agency is seeking a committed Registered Manager to lead their fostering service. This full-time position in West Virginia involves ensuring compliance with Ofsted regulations, developing strategic plans, and overseeing the recruitment and training of staff. The ideal candidate will possess a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care along with social work qualifications, and must have experience with safeguarding and fostering. Qualifications

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care or willing to work towards.
• Recognised Social Work qualification and registration with Social Work England.
• Experience in safeguarding and fostering or looked-after children.

• Strong understanding of fostering legislation, NMS, and the Children Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead the fostering service and maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations.

As the Registered Manager, you will

• Lead the fostering service and maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations
• Develop and deliver strategic plans to achieve Outstanding ratings
• Oversee recruitment, training, and supervision of staff and foster carers

• Manage relationships with commissioners, stakeholders, and multi-agency teams
• Contribute to business development and service expansion

Essential requirements of this Registered Manager role
