Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking a Registered Manager for a 4-bed children's home in Bedfordshire. You will develop comprehensive care plans, recruit and lead a strong team, and ensure high-quality care in line with regulatory standards.

You will foster consultation with young people, allocate key workers, and collaborate with parents and professionals to promote welfare, while managing the home within budget and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people in care.
• Experience in residential care of children, with supervisory exposure in the last 5 years.
• Knowledge of Quality Standards, SCCIF and childcare regulation.

Responsibilities

• Develop Comprehensive Care Plans tailored to each young person.
• Build and manage a high-performing home team.
• Foster consultation with young people about their care.
• Allocate Key Workers to implement childcare plans.
• Maintain high standards in line with National Minimum Standards.
