Job summary

Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP is seeking a Registered Funds Content Lawyer to develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy for innovative registered funds products and regulatory developments. You will produce client alerts, long-form articles, and market updates for a sophisticated audience including asset managers and fund sponsors.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with the 1940 Act, SEC rulemaking, and fund formation, governance, and compliant architecture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment management, securities regulation, or a closely related practice area.
• Demonstrated expertise in the Investment Company Act of 1940, SEC regulations, and fund structures.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a forward-looking editorial calendar and content pipeline for registered funds.
• Translate complex legal concepts into clear, commercially oriented prose for asset managers and institutional investors.
• Maintain editorial standards, voice consistency, and branding across published content.
• Manage end-to-end editorial workflow from topic identification to publication.
• Collaborate with attorneys and leadership to align content with business objectives.
