Job summary

Van Duyn Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our caring team. This full-time role focuses on providing high-quality nutrition services to residents, developing personalized plans, and supporting their overall health and well-being.

Qualifications

• Must hold New York State Registered Dietitian certification.
• Rehab experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills and delivering personalized care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nutritional services for residents, including planning and implementing individualized nutrition plans
• Complete and document nutrition assessments, monitoring residents' progress and adjusting plans as needed
• Participate in the resident care planning process, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Provide nutritional education and counseling to residents and their families, empowering them to take an active role in their health and wellness
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, prioritizing resident satisfaction and well-being
