Job summary

Spring River Rehabilitation & Care Center in Roswell, NM is seeking a Registered Dietitian (RD) to join our interdisciplinary team. You will oversee the nutritional care of residents in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting, ensuring regulatory compliance and resident-centered care.

Responsibilities include completing nutrition assessments, developing care plans, monitoring status, and collaborating with the IDT to support wound healing and specialized diets.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential required.
• Licensed in NM (or eligible).
• Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred.
• Strong understanding of CMS regulations and nutrition support for the elderly.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete nutrition assessments for new admissions and significant changes.
• Develop and update individualized nutrition care plans.
• Monitor weight trends, intake and nutritional status.
• Provide recommendations for weight management, wound healing and specialized diets.
• Collaborate with nursing, providers, dietary staff and the IDT.
