Job summary

Dry Harbor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Queens, NY, is seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian (RD) to promote optimal nutrition and health for residents. You will conduct assessments and develop personalized plans, provide education to residents and families, and collaborate with the care team to implement individualized plans.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Dietitian (RD) with a current license to practice in New York.
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field.
Experience working in a long-term care setting, preferably in a dietary or nutrition-related role.

Responsibilities

Conducting nutrition assessments and developing personalized nutrition plans
Providing nutrition education and counseling to residents and their families
Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that meet the unique needs of each resident
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of our nutrition programs and making recommendations for improvement
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of resident diets and nutrition plans
