Health Systems Management, Inc. is recruiting a Registered Dietitian for Piedmont Dialysis Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

This full-time position focuses on providing nutrition education to hemodialysis patients, completing monthly assessments, and coordinating care with physicians. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in nutrition or Dietetics, a state licensure, and at least 1 year of clinical dietetics experience; ESRD patients preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Master’s degree in nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
• Active Dietitian licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-year experience with clinical dietetics required (not to include internship); ESRD patients preferred.
• Must have flexible schedule.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
• Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients.
• Rounds with physicians on a weekly basis or as needed.
• Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements.
• Works closely with interdisciplinary personnel to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients.
• Monitors patients’ weights, adjusting diet and fluid needs.
• Participates in QAPI, collaboration/teamwork with other Registered Dietitians.
• Patient-centered/education projects needed.

HSM has an outstanding reputation in the renal community for providing high quality patient care and encouraging physician input while maintaining efficient business operations. We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Registered Dietitians to join our Piedmont Dialysis Center team.

Responsibilities and Physical Demands:

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients.
