Job summary

Health Systems Management, Inc. is seeking a Registered Dietitian to join our Dialysis Center team in Mocksville and Elkin, NC. This full-time role delivers patient-centered nutrition education and collaborates with the renal care team.

Responsibilities include monthly assessments, lab reviews, and weekly rounds with physicians. A flexible schedule and ability to work at both sites are required, with potential remote work one day per week after training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Master's degree in nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
• Active Dietitian licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1 year experience with clinical dietetics; ESRD patients preferred.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.
• Must successfully pass Ishihara Color Blind Test.

Responsibilities

• Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients and completes monthly assessments.
• Reviews labs with patients and rounds with physicians weekly or as needed.
• Monitors patients' weights and adjusts diet and fluid needs; participates in QAPI and interdisciplinary teamwork.

Full Time Position

Split position will cover both Davie Kidney Center - Mocksville, NC & Elkin Dialysis Center - Elkin, NC

Health Systems Management, Inc. (HSM) is a full-service healthcare management organization providing a full range of development, management, and administrative services for dialysis facilities over the past 35 years in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina. HSM has an outstanding reputation in the renal community for providing high quality patient care and encouraging physician input while maintaining efficient business operations. We are currently seeking compassionate, dedicated, and highly motivated Registered Dietitians to join our Dialysis Center team.

Dietitian Responsibilities And Physical Demands

Provides nutrition education to hemodialysis patients. Completes monthly assessments and reviews labs with patients. Rounds with physicians on a weekly basis or as needed. Recommends vitamins, binders, and nutritional supplements. Works closely with interdisciplinary personnel to address nutritional and emotional needs of patients. Monitors patients' weights, adjusting diet and fluid needs. Participates in QAPI, collaboration/teamwork with other Registered Dietitians. Patient-centered/education projects needed.

Dietitian Education Requirements And Position Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition or Dietetics required.
• Master's degree in nutrition or Dietetics preferred.
• Active Dietitian licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• Minimum of 1-year experience with clinical dietetics required (not to include internship); ESRD patients preferred.
• Must have flexible schedule.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.

Excellent bedside manner and communication skills. Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara's Color Blind Test.
