Job summary

Health Systems Management Lexington, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Dialysis Team. This full-time position offers a sign-on bonus up to $13,000 based on experience and a pathway to growth within a reputable renal care organization.

The RN will provide dialysis treatments, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure safe patient care in a dynamic clinical setting. Candidates must be licensed, flexible, and capable of handling various shifts.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active RN license for the state of practice.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and fill in when needed.
• Computer skills for charting and documentation.
• Excellent bedside manner and communication abilities.
• Ishihara color vision test clearance.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide prescribed nursing and dialysis treatments to patients.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered dialysis nursing care.
• Utilize the nursing process for direct and indirect patient care.
• Supervise and coordinate with other team members.

RN Responsibilities and Physical Demands:

• Provides prescribed medical treatment and dialysis treatment to the clients of the unit.
• Renders highly professional and technical nursing care to the dialysis patients.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Directs and supervises other team members.
• Collaborates with the physicians and the multidisciplinary team members to achieve the highest standards or care specific to the age/developmental status of the patient.
• Ensures a secure and safe patient environment by following safety policies, procedures and standards of care.
• This position requires frequent and prolonged periods of standing and bending.

RN Education Requirements and Position Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN licensure appropriate to the state of practice.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and to fill in when needed.

• Excellent bedside manner and communication skills.
• Employee must successfully pass the Ishihara’s Color Blind Test.
