Job summary

Elior, through Cura-Hospitality, is seeking an experienced Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Pittsburgh. You will assess patients’ nutritional needs and implement interventions to improve nutritional status and quality of life.

You will educate the care team and patients, follow accreditation standards, collaborate with departments on dining services, and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives. This is a full-time onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Passed the national examination (CDR) or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years, per CDR.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for comprehensive assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.
• Nice-to-haves: Bachelor’s degree in nutrition or related field; Healthcare or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing nutritional expertise to the health care team and educating patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Following the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standards of practice and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interacting with other departments in setting up procedures and policies related to dining service and nutrition.
• Actively participating in the development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
