Job summary

Oak Valley Hospital District is seeking a registered Dietitian to join the Nutrition and Food Services team in delivering evidence-based nutrition care to patients in the acute care hospital and skilled nursing facility. The RDN will perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop interventions, educate patients, and monitor outcomes under the Director of Clinical Nutrition.

The role requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary healthcare team, adherence to the Nutrition Care Process,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field required.
• Master’s degree required for individuals credentialed after January 1, 2024 (per CDR requirements, if applicable)
• Clinical dietetics experience in hospital or skilled nursing facility preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and therapeutic diets
• Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team environment
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
• Licensure as required by California state law
