Blue Central Group is seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of clinical nutrition, patient assessment, and medical nutrition therapy, with a passion for improving health outcomes through personalized nutritional care.

Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN).
  • Proven experience in clinical nutrition within hospital or long-term care environments.
  • Strong knowledge of physiology, medical nutrition therapy (MNT), and diagnostic evaluation processes.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing tube feeding, nutritional analysis, and developing care plans for complex cases.
  • Experience working with individuals who have specific dietary needs related to chronic illnesses or geriatrics.
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient record management.
  • Excellent client communication skills combined with the ability to educate patients effectively.
  • Supervising experience in a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with acute care practices, weight loss programs, and dietary department operations is advantageous.

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans that align with medical diagnoses and treatment goals.
  • Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling and education to patients with chronic diseases, geriatrics, weight management, and specific dietary requirements.
  • Manage nutrition support interventions such as tube feeding and parenteral nutrition in collaboration with medical teams.
  • Utilize electronic health records (EHR) systems to document assessments, care plans, and progress notes accurately.
  • Apply motivational interviewing techniques to encourage behavioral change and enhance patient adherence to nutritional recommendations.
  • Supervise dietetic interns or junior staff members while ensuring compliance with clinical standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care outcomes.
