Job summary

Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee's Summit seeks a part-time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care using the NCP/ADIME framework. The RD will work on-site, contribute to professional development, and participate in performance improvement activities within clinical nutrition.

The role supports a dynamic healthcare environment with flexible hours, weekends on a rotation, and ongoing opportunities for education and advancement within Saint Luke’s Health System.

Qualifications

• Uses Nutrition Care Process (NCP) – ADIME: assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation.
• Demonstrates competency in Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional Performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutrition care on-site following NCP/ADIME.
• Promote change and participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support professional development of staff and students in clinical nutrition.
• Work on-site 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, 24 hours per week, with occasional weekends and holiday rotation.

Job Description The Opportunity: Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

Shifts: On Site 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible) 24 hours a week Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend) Holiday Rotation
