Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process (NCP/ADIME) and contribute to clinical staff development. This on-site role covers 24 hours weekly with 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM shifts, occasional weekends and holiday rotation.

The RD will participate in performance improvement activities and support department initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed Dietitian in KS and MO.
• Registered Dietitian (CDR).
• Experience with Nutrition Care Process (NCP/ADIME) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Apply Nutrition Care Process (ADIME) to patient care.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Support clinical staff and student development.
• Contribute to department improvement initiatives.

The Opportunity: Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and /or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

The Shifts

• On Site
• 24 hours a week
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)
• Holiday Rotation
