Job summary

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME—assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation) at the patient-care level. The RD functions independently within clinical nutrition and supports the professional development of staff and students.

You will participate in performance improvement activities, promote department change, and work toward CAP Level II requirements.

Qualifications

• Nutrition Care Process (NCP) knowledge and ADIME framework.
• Bachelor's degree required; RD licensure in KS/MO and RD credential (CDR).

Responsibilities

• Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP/ADIME) for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation.
• Function independently within clinical nutrition and support staff/students.

Job description

The Opportunity

Saint Luke's East Hospital in Lee's Summit is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

The Shifts

• On Site
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
• 24 hours a week
• Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)
• Holiday Rotation
