Job summary

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition care using ADIME within a clinical setting. The role supports professional development of staff and students and contributes to department improvement initiatives.

The RD will participate in performance improvement activities and maintain CAP Level II competencies as part of ongoing standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Applicable Experience: Less than 1 year.
• Licensed Dietitian in KS and MO as required by state boards.
• Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).

Responsibilities

• Apply Nutrition Care Process (NCP/ADIME) in patient care.
• Collaborate within clinical nutrition to support staff and students.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.
• Meet CAP Level II requirements in practice.

Job description

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke's Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and/or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement. They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

The Shifts:

• On Site 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)
• Holiday Rotation
