Job summary

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to provide patient-centered nutrition care using the Nutrition Care Process (ADIME). The RD will work on-site, contribute to performance improvement activities, and support the professional development of staff and students.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and licensure as a Dietitian in KS and MO, plus CDR registration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Licensure as a Dietitian in KS and MO; RD registered with CDR.

Responsibilities

• Use Nutrition Care Process (ADIME) for assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation.
• Function independently and contribute to staff and student development.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City is looking for a full time Registered Dietitian. This person is accountable for using Nutrition Care Process (NCP, ADIME-assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring and evaluation). Within the organizational structure of clinical nutrition, the RD functions independently and is a resource contributing to the professional development of clinical staff and /or students at the patient care level. They demonstrate initiative to promote change in the department, recognizing opportunities for improvement.They will also participate in performance improvement activities. The RD demonstrates competency in the Standards of Practice and Standards of Professional of Performance and they meet requirements for CAP Level II requirements.

The Shifts:

• On Site
• 24 hours a week
• 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexible)
• Occasional Weekends (every 5th/6th weekend)
• Holiday Rotation
