Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking an experienced Full-Time Registered Dietitian for the Whitfield, MS location. You will identify nutritional needs, implement interventions, and support patient-centered goals within a healthcare team.

You will work on-site at Mississippi State Hospital - Whitfield, applying Academy standards and regulatory guidelines to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition (required).
• Master’s degree in Nutrition or related field (required).
• Passed a national examination (CDR) or eligible per Academy requirements.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess nutritional needs of patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and maintain nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life consistent with patient/resident goals.
• Educate staff, patients, and families on nutrition plans.
