Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a full-time Registered Dietitian for the Whitfield, MS healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs, implement interventions, and collaborate with care teams to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities include education for patients and staff, adherence to Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards, and contributing to quality improvement. MS State Hospital Whitfield site with full-time benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (or related field) required.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field required.
• CDR exam passed or eligible per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
• 75 hours CE every five years per CDR requirements.
• Licensed or certified per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents' rights.
• Ability to teach others about nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess the nutritional needs of assigned patients/residents.
• Initiate interventions to achieve and/or maintain patients' nutritional status.
• Enhance quality of life aligned with patient’s goals.
• Provide nutritional expertise to the health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
