Job summary

Cornerstone Services is seeking a Registered Dietitian to organize, plan, and supervise the dietary department in a skilled nursing facility. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and work under the Administrator's direction.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, monitor staff performance, review menus, and oversee dietary progress notes while maintaining resident dignity and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory experience in food services within a skilled nursing facility or hospital.
• Ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management.
• Ability to interpret dietary cost reports and financial data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor staff to ensure sanitation, safety, and procedural guidelines are followed.
• Forecast department budgeting needs.
• Plan and review menus prior to food preparation and ensure correct diet trays are served to residents.
• Ensure all meals and snacks are served on time and meeting dietary requirements.
• Collaborate with the Director/Manager of Dietary Services and other departments.
